If you’re shipping to Nigeria from London, we will usually send our van driver to collect from your doorstep anywhere in Dalston, Tottenham, Barnet, Enfield, Barking, Dagenham, Thamesmead, Woolwich, Peckham, Croydon, Bexleyheath, Dartford, and Plumstead. If you’re not based in London our doorstep collection option is also available anywhere in the UK. Once we receive your booking, we will send our courier partner to collect it from you. The collection is between the window of 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday excluding weekends. Kindly note that courier collection will attract a fee but we can assure you that our collection fee is very reasonable in comparison to what other cargo shipping companies will charge.

On the arrival of your shipment at our depot in Lagos, we offer both office collection as well as door delivery to any location in Nigeria should you request this.
Minimum Weight Requirement on Shipping
The minimum weight for sea shipping is 20kg

You are allowed to have them in twos though. For example, two small Ghana must-go bags weighing 20kg each. Or two medium boxes weighing 20kg each or two suitcases weighing 20kg each.
Barrel Shipping to Nigeria is £180 to Lagos and £210 to other destinations.

How Long Does It Take for Shipping to Nigeria from the UK?
Airfreight takes a week while sea shipping to Nigeria takes a period of 6 to 8 weeks from the shipping sailing date.
Labelling Your Shipment
It’s very important to mark the number of items you have on your boxes and write Cargonaija on each box too. For example, if your boxes are 2 write 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 etc. If it’s just a box, write 1 of 1. The Same labelling procedure applies to bags and suitcases.
It’s equally important to write your name with a clear marker pen on your items. For clarity’s sake, use a bold black marker pen to write on items that are non-black colour. On the other hand, use a white marker pen on black boxes, suitcases, or bags.
Alternatively, you can create your own labels and paste them on your cargo using a transparent clean film.
Insurance When Shipping to Nigeria from the UK
If your shipment falls below £195, you’ll automatically be refunded in case of any mishap.
However, if your shipment is over £195, we offer an optional 5% Additional Cover on every shipment on air cargo of up to £6000 and sea shipping. If your shipment is above £6000, you’re advised to take an additional cover or insurance to protect your interest.
